The Most Amazing Race

Ok, so I’ve never been one to do a race that required me asking others for donations/funds. But there’s always a first time for everything, right?  One of my best friends, Bre Pierce, and myself, are going to be running The Most Amazing Race in Tulsa, OK on June 14th. We have until June 8th to earn at least $250 of contributions to even qualify for the race.  No matter what amount of funds we receive, Salvation Army is the recipient.  Salvation Army’s Center of Hope is the largest homeless shelter in Northeast Oklahoma.  The Center of Hope provides shelter for more than 87,000 and serves 275,000 meals annually. Shelter guests also have access to life skills, AA meetings, chapel services, and case management.  One in seven shelter guests is a child. The number of families staying at the Center of Hope has tripled in the past 5 years.  The Center also helps individuals and families with their utility bills through the Emergency Financial Assistance Program.

We are asking that you please consider helping our community Salvation Army by donating to our team. You’ll find the donation link posted below. Any contribution amount is greatly appreciated, and thank you so much for your support.

Donations will be accepted through June 13th.
