Memorial Day Weekend – Hulett/Roy Reunion

Every Memorial Day weekend, for the past 11 years, we have had a family reunion in Branson, MO for my mom’s side. It began as a surprise celebration for my grandmother’s 80th birthday, and this year was her 91st! We thoroughly enjoy our time at the “blue houses” with everyone. I am SO blessed to be a part of such a great, caring family. We had a great turnout this year, with very few missing. So glad to have those who were able to come.

We tried family games this year, minute-to-win-it style. Josh/I were in charge, and we had fun planning all of the games. We had 11 games, rotating between team/relay games, and individual games. I think everyone had a great time. Here’s the list of our games:

  • Nose Dive (Team Relay)
  • This Blows!
  • A Bit Dicey (Team Relay)
  • Hanky Panky
  • Noodling Around (Team Relay)
  • Junk in the Trunk
  • Suck it up! (Team Relay)
  • Elephant Trunk
  • A drop in the Bucket (Team Relay)
  • Penny Hose
  • Face the cookie (Team)

Other events over the weekend included playing at the pool, outlet mall shopping, miniature golfing, volleyball, board games, EATING, and visiting.  I think everyone enjoyed our short visit and here are a few pictures to prove it!
