We celebrated Gentry’s 1st birthday on Saturday, March 26. Josh and I took her to the zoo for her birthday on Friday. The weather was perfect, and she enjoyed it, as did we!
We went with a rubber ducky theme, because she just loves her “duck duck”s! Gentry had a great turnout for her party! Great-grandmas, grandparents, aunts/uncles, cousins, and 2nd cousins. We had lasagna soup, cheese and quackers, veggie tray, fruit tray, and goldfish. For dessert we had cookies made by Monica, cupcakes, and punch. We had mini ducks with blue sixlets for party favors. As you can tell, we had a lot of fun getting ready for Gentry’s party.
Special thanks to my mom for helping me figure out how to do an applique on my embroidery machine, and croqueting the tutu as I handed her each piece of tulle. Cutting out the letters for the Happy Birthday banner, blowing up balloons while I tacked them to the wall, and tying the party favor bags. She was a HUGE help!
Thank you to Sandra for bringing the fruit & veggie trays!
And Jack & Judy for the extra table, chairs, drinks, and punch bowl!
Emily came and took a few family pictures before the party, and of course stayed and took pictures during the party. She did such a fantastic job! We have loved all of the pictures she has taken for us over the past 4 years. Here are a few of the pics:
